Maha Chef Shane Delia will kick off a busy period by showcasing his new food menu at the Herald Sun’s 25th anniversary party next week.
Delia will serve up a preview of the food from his new venture, Biggie Smalls, which is due to open in Collingwood in December.
“That’s my big push this year” he said.
“I’ve written a great menu for the party and the Herald Sun family will have first bite. There’ll also be Turkish Delight ice cream sandwiches for dessert.”
The Herald Sun, which launched on October 8, 1990, when the Herald and The Sun merged, will celebrate at The Emerson in South Yarra.
“it’s an awesome achievement and a great celebration – I’ve always had a great relationship with the paper,” Delia said.
Delia, whose show, Spice Journey, returns to air soon, is preparing for the spring carnival catering of the Austereo and Peter Rowland marquees.
