Inside the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Australian Grand Prix Ladies Day Lunch

To celebrate Ladies Day at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge and the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019, some of Australia’s most stylish and recognisable faces headed to Melbourne’s Albert Park to kick off the racing season at the annual event.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz presents designers, Edwina Forrest and Adrian Norris (above), the creative duo behind Aje, treated the audience to a glimpse of their latest collection and revealed what we can expect from their opening show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year during the luncheon before guests enjoyed the day’s warm up events.

Joining the Aje team were P.E Nation co-founders Claire Tregoning and Pip Edwards as well as Jessica Hart, Magdalena Roze, Laura Dundovic and Yeojin Bae.

Alongside the famous faces were a whole host of Mercedes-Benz cars, including the Mercedes-AMG G 63 S as well as a Mercedes-AMG G 63, the newly launched Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé; the Mercedes-AMG GT4, a racetrack-ready customer sport racing car.

Guests enjoyed canapes served by Maha chef and Mercedes-Benz Friend of the Brand, Shane Delia and cocktails from expert bartender Clinton Weir.

With front row access, or as close as you can get to the on-course action, the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge offered guests trackside views of the high-octane action taking place all weekend.
